I read Giant by Edna Ferber last year and really enjoyed it. I’m going to check out So Big. The Expanse sounds like something I would like as well. Thanks for the recommendations Jeremy.
Been meaning to read The Expanse for awhile, the show was intriguing but maybe lost it's way - but yes, great characters, love Bobbie, and Chrisjen, and Drummer.
Need to get back into the Expanse series. Read Leviathan Wakes as a beach read years ago, enjoyed it, but failed to add book two afterwards. And book 3 (Abaddon’s Gate) is on my list as a Locus winner.

Chrisjen is definitely another favorite. She's just great. SUCH good characters all around.
