Looking forward to reading "Meditations for Mortals" with everyone. I am especially looking forward to chapter 5: "Too Much Information: On the art of reading and not reading." Sounds very appropriate for today's age and information overload.
I don't do a lot of pre-ordering because my lack of impulse control makes sure I always have a stocked TBR, but I pre-ordered Meditation for Mortals as soon as I heard it was coming out. 4000 Weeks is a book I keep returning to when I feel my anxiety mounting and things spinning out of my grasp.
The Road Not Taken sounds excellent, I'll be adding that to the list as well.
Good luck in weathering the current job market; it's rough out there. I, for one, am rooting for you.
I’m on week 18 of Meditations for Mortals, and so far I’ve bought six copies for loved ones. That says it all.
I’m so glad to hear that!
