I've heard Herriot recommended quite a lot, but I've never read him. I'll have to do that this summer. Nor have I ever read LeCarre! Another one I definitely need to get to.
I'm currently reading The Shack by William Paul Young and A Lady's Guide to Gossip and Murder by Dianne Freeman (the second book in the series). My next planned reads are The Maidens by Alex Michaelides and Paper Towns by John Green.
Can't believe I haven't read either of these. Both sound intriguing. My rec back to you: Beware the Woman by Megan Abbott. Taut psychological drama about a couple returning to her husband's remote home town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where we meet the intense father "Dr. Ash."
I’m a Gatsby fan as well! It’s one I like returning to every now and again, especially since it is such a quick read.
Definitely among my all-time faves!
Good morning! It’s 0730 here in the St. Louis area. Humidity near the temperature!
This summer, I’m re-reading Single and Single from John LeCarre, one of my favorite authors. It’s a great story that shames international crime.
Next on the list is Why we listen to that (I think that is the title), about why we enjoy certain types of music.
I recently finished The Lord God made them all, by James Herriot. All of his books are terrific. I highly recommend them.
Take care,

All great choices!
DeMille recommendation: Charm School. Great stuff.
Awesome, thanks! Definitely want to read more of him.

I'll check out Abbott for sure! Thanks, Neal.
And yeah, Dedicated podcast is *great* — I've really enjoyed going through from the beginning.
p.s. -- Thanks for the intro to Dedicated. Can't believe I hadn't heard of that podcast before!
-It's spelled y'all, not ya'll. Fact.
Pretty please spell it right.
