Happy Friday, readers! After two weeks of non-fiction, this week I’m delving back into my crime-focused summer with a couple of great books centered on serial killers. The titles I’m featuring today are gritty and disturbing, but the writing is top-notch and the storytelling is immersive. In exploring the darkest parts of human nature, these authors also expose the brightest, most resilient parts, too.
I am in Chicago visiting grandchildren. With some time on my hands, I brought along _All the Sinners Bleed_ along with _The Count of Monte Cristo_. I plan to start Sinners this afternoon and I am looking forward to reading Cosby as I have heard many good things about his writing.
Danya's book is brilliant.
Totally agree!

It's as propulsive and earnest as anything I've read in recent years!
About half way through after a day of reading. Tense and, as you said, propulsive.
