I love reading your newsletters and I've been inspired to pick up many new books. However I'm going to be pedantic here since you are such a great reader and writer and suggest that the word "I" is never used in the possessive form. I believe it's better to say "my wife's and my favorite".
James Ellroy is the bomb. The Lloyd Hopkins Trilogy was fantastic. Thanks for these recommendations. I'd like to read more stories set in the heartland, so I'm intrigued by one that takes place in Nebraska.
Loved The God of the Woods. You might like an earlier book if hers called The Unseen World which deals with an early version of virtual reality.
I second the recommendation for Unseen World! I liked God of the Woods but Unseen World resonated more with me.
Glad to hear that! Just put a library hold on Unseen World. :)
I just finished The God of the Woods and loved it. I’m going to check out Unseen World, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it too, Noreen!

Chris Thornton is great! Her interview coming on Tuesday has even more recs for Nebraskan authors.
The God of the Woods to the top of my TBR pile. :)
Enjoy!
