It’s time again for my favorite discussion thread of the year:
What were the best books you read in 2025?
Regardless of when they were published, I want to hear about the books that grabbed your attention, emotions, and thoughts.

Good year for reading. Favorites include:
Leonard and Hungry Paul (a fascinating tale of adult male relationships. I spied someone reading this on a long L ride in Chicago and figured it had to be good.)
Carnality (a nun and reality TV - what more do you need?)
The Gales of November (fascinating non-fiction)
Long Island Compromise (there's a great scene midway through that just keeps unraveling. So well done)
Wolf at the Table (The antagonist isn't so much a character as it is a sickness)
Sports: American Kings
Non-Sports: 13 Hours
