My only problem with this weekly email is that it means I'll never catch up on my backlog since you add to it constantly...but really, thank you for all the great recommendations!

How do you find time to read so many books—many of them long and challenging? Do you have any tips for the rest of us?

Great question, and it's one that I get a lot. It's best answered in this post: https://www.readmorebooks.co/p/how-to-read-more-books-in-2023. Please let me know if you have any more questions — always happy to chat books and reading. :)

I read Children of Men last year. A really good book, much better than the movie!

Jeremy, have you seen the movie adaptation of Children of Men? It’s an excellent movie, and a bit different from the book.

Now that you’ve read Walden, you should read, Henry David Thoreau: A Life by Laura Dassow Walls. Great read!

It's funny how adaptations hit different people, because I felt the movie wasn't all that good compared to how good the book was. It's been too many years since I've read the book and watched the movie to remember why I wasn't impressed, though. Maybe a reread and re-watch are in order :)

I do love this topic and would be very interested in your thought upon reread and rewatch.

I think I have, but it’s been a long time. I should definitely re-watch it.
