I really need to read more Chuck Wendig. The only thing I've read of his is the Star Wars: Aftermath trilogy. Those were great but I want to see what he can do when not tethered to an IP.
For zombie apocalypse stories The Reapers Are The Angels by Alden Bell and Zone One by Colson Whitehead are both amazing. I finished Reapers late last year and it is definitely one of those "sticks with you" stories. It's about an older teenage girl trying to survive zombies, evil humans, and mutants but it's written so beautifully. Zone One was the most literary zombie novel I had read until Reaper but still stands out as amazing fiction and my favorite zombie story...so far!
Wanderers was great. I didn’t know there was a sequel. Thanks!

I didn't enjoy Book of Accidents as much, but obviously loved Wanderers.
Our Missing Hearts has been on my list too! Can't wait to read it soon!

Haven't heard of Reapers! Adding to my list now. Thanks Bob!
